• Learn Unique Skills

Further your education by immersing yourself in the growing raft of medical research demonstrating the role of The Microbiome in Gut Disorders such as IBS.

  • IBS is Common in General Practice

The National Institutes of Health estimate that up to 20% of general practice patients may be experiencing IBS

  • Help patients rather than dismiss

With the tools provided by The Microbiome Education Course, you will have the ability to treat patients within your clinic. The alternative is to send patients to practitioners whom are seldom able to address the underlying cause of IBS.

  • Save your patients' time, money and worry

Many patients with IBS are told their symptoms are "made-up" or "all in their head". Be the Doctor who understands the underlying cause of IBS and therefore can begin to implement a plan for your patient immediately.

Three Presentations

The bulk of The Microbiome Education Course takes place within 3 modules. These are delivered via 3 powerpoint presentations by leading gastroenterologist Dr Paul Froomes. These Presentations include how to interpret Stool Test results, use antibiotics and how to properly harness prebiotics and probitoics to achieve restorative outcomes.

Consult Guide

A template you can refer to when consulting with a patient experiencing IBS symptoms. This guide includes the type of questions to ask, the appropriate treatment based on indicators received and the associated test/supplements a patient should order following the consult. This Consult Guide covers each step along the path to restoring your patients gut health.

Guides for Patients

Patients receive a simple guide to self-administer the required test/supplements which comes with the associated test/supplements. Patients also receive a diet, including a meal plan crafted in conjunction with a dietician, specifically to foster a healthy Microbiome.

For your Clinic

  • A certificate of completion of vocational training in The Microbiome and IBS.
  • A template for a flyer which advertises your new expertise to display on your clinic's reception desk and/or website.

Note: you will need to add your name, practice name, address, etc.

Additional Support

In conjunction with the above, you will receive ongoing education including an annually updated Microbiome Education Course as well as quarterly updates incorporating the latest research on the Microbiome.

Unfortunately, not every patient responds to The Microbiome Repair Program. For more challenging cases of IBS you have access to refer to Dr Paul Froomes, who can provide a more advanced treatment.
